Large 5+ gram vesuvianite from an old collection, labeled only “East Africa.” Our best guess would be Tanzania, possibly the Morogoro area
This is quite large for faceting vesuvianite. It has multiple small to moderate inclusions, including one corner we’ve tried to show clearly in the last photo, so the cutter will need to work around those. There is still a lot of good material here
