Quartz objet d’art carved in the form of a seahorse. This piece comes from an old Bangkok cutting factory that produced fine carvings more than 20 years ago for a Japanese client. The carving is highly detailed, with exceptional work in the curves, texture and form of the seahorse’s body.
Set with natural sapphire eyes that glow intensely under UV light, as shown in the photograph, the piece has both artistic and gemological interest. It could be worn as a pendant, adapted into a ring, or simply kept as part of a fine gem carving collection.
