Quartz, leaning toward smokey quartz, objet d’art carved in the form of a seahorse. This piece comes from an old Bangkok cutting factory that produced fine carvings more than 20 years ago for a Japanese client. The carving is highly detailed, showing exceptional craftsmanship in the curves and texture of the seahorse’s body. Set with natural sapphire eyes, which glow intensely under UV light as shown in the photograph, it carries both artistry and gemological interest. The piece could be worn as a pendant, adapted into a ring, or simply kept as part of a fine gem carving collection. We purchased the remaining inventory from this workshop and are offering this as the first piece in the current auction.
