Chrome Kornerupine is an exceptionally rare gemstone, particularly in faceted sizes exceeding one carat. This Tanzanian example has an unusual turquoise-blue color with green highlights. While not perfectly clean, it is an attractive stone with good color and an unusually generous size for such scarce material. A difficult gemstone to find, especially in this color and weight.
