This round Oregon Sunstone flashes with coppery fire across a soft orange base. The shimmer you see is called schiller—tiny platelets of native copper suspended in the feldspar, catching and scattering light as the stone moves. It’s a natural effect, unique to this American gem.
Sourced from southeastern Oregon, this sunstone is part of a small and tightly controlled deposit. No treatments, no enhancements—just careful mining, thoughtful cutting, and a little bit of volcanic magic. The round brilliant cut brings the internal sparkle to life in a way that’s hard to look away from.
