Gorgeous Lavender Tanzanite from Tanzania.
Lavender is much rarer than the traditional blue Tanzanite. This is due to how the crystals grow. Since the blue is on the wider portion of the crystal, most tanzanite is faceted with the blue facing up.
This is exceptionally nice in hand- a real stunner!
